Accelerated Academy
CVHS strives to serve all students in CSISD especially if they have fallen behind or circumstances require students to graduate early. The Accelerated Academy will allow students, who fall under these two areas, to obtain their diploma. All accelerated academy students will be provided an individualized plan.
Students can achieve the following through the Accelerated Academy:
- Earn a foundation high school diploma with endorsement (26 credits)
- Accelerated pace through a custom graduation plan
- Includes in-person and Edgenuity courses
Students interested in becoming part of the Accelerated Academy can qualify two ways:
Students that are behind in credits:
1. Must have a minimum of 18 credits at the time of the application.
2. Must have at least tested in all 5 End of Course Exams (EOC)
- Algebra 1
- English 1
- English 2
- Biology
- U.S. History
Students who wish to graduate early:
1. Be on track or ahead in credits at the time of the application.
2. Be willing to take both face-to-face and Edgenuity courses to accelerate graduation date.
Please note that previous discipline and/or attendance issues will be considered in the application process. Although infractions do not disqualify students from being accepted, a discipline/attendance contract may be issued if the student is accepted that would be signed by both the student and parent/guardian.

Optional Flexible School Day Program
(OFSDP)
OFSDP is a specialized 1⁄2 day program that falls under the umbrella of the Accelerated Academy. The Optional Flexible School Day Program (OFSDP) allows districts to provide flexible hours and days of attendance for students. CVHS offers two sessions which include (8:00 - 12:00 pm) or (12:00 - 4:00 pm).
Students that are interested will be provided information and qualifications for being accepted into this program.
